Personalisation: Create a Unique, Engraved Wine Tool

Offering a L’Atelier du Vin object already means sharing a story. Personalising it means inscribing your own.

A name, a date, initials engraved in metal or wood: this is how our wine tools become truly one-of-a-kind pieces, carrying a sincere and thoughtful intention.

The Meaning Behind the Gesture

Each engraving is carried out by hand or by laser in our workshops in the north of France, with the same artisanal standards that guide the creation of our collections. And because we master the entire process, no additional lead time extends the dispatch of your personalised gift.

Transforming a corkscrew, a presentation case or a serving accessory into a unique object is not an optional service: it is an extension of the giver’s gesture, turning a technical instrument into a lifelong companion imbued with meaning.

The Mark of a Singular Moment

A personalised wine tool resembles no other. It bears the trace of an intention, of a meaningful date, of a name that resonates. It becomes the silent witness to life’s great occasions: a wedding celebrated around an exceptional bottle, a birthday marked by the sharing of a fine vintage, or a legacy passed down from one generation to the next.

The Personalised Object, the Singular Object

It is no longer merely a corkscrew or a serving accessory. It becomes a memory embodied in material, an object that tells a story each time it is held. The engraving inscribes in metal or wood what words do not always express: affection, gratitude, the celebration of a bond.

The Elegance of Detail

The discretion of an engraved signature takes nothing away from the beauty of the object. On the contrary, it enriches it with an intimate and exclusive dimension.

A few characters, a date, intertwined initials: these fine and precise markings transform a technical instrument into an object of living that belongs only to the person who receives it.

This attention to detail reflects a certain idea of gifting: one where the aim is not to impress through excess, but to touch through accuracy. A personalised L’Atelier du Vin gift does not proclaim its uniqueness. It whispers it, with elegance.

Craftsmanship Rooted in Our Workshops

Personalising a wine tool cannot be entrusted to just any hand. L’Atelier du Vin has chosen complete in-house production: each engraving is carried out directly in our workshops in the north of France, by the very artisans who possess an intimate knowledge of our materials and finishing standards.

Mastery of the Craft, from Start to Finish

This proximity allows us to guarantee the quality of every marking and to ensure a high level of responsiveness. Your personalised order does not enter a lengthy production chain: it follows the same path as a standard order and benefits from the same meticulous attention at every stage.

Two Techniques, One Standard of Excellence

The engraving is adapted to the nature of the object, with constant care taken to preserve the integrity of the material.

On metal, we use diamond-tip engraving. This technique, inherited from jewellery-making, consists in incising the metal with surgical precision. The diamond tip creates a fine, luminous line that captures the light. The result is an indelible marking that neither fades nor dulls over time. It is the ultimate expression of elegance for initials, a date or a short message engraved on a corkscrew or a chrome-plated accessory.

On wood, laser engraving offers incomparable depth and warmth. The beam burns the fibres of the wood with extreme finesse, creating a natural contrast between the marking and the original tone of the material. This sensual imprint, slightly recessed, gives presentation cases and solid wood handles a tactile and warm dimension.

No Additional Lead Time

Because our engraving teams work in direct coordination with our dispatch department, personalisation does not result in any extension of delivery times. Your gift is prepared, engraved and packaged seamlessly, then dispatched immediately.

This fluidity is the result of an organisation designed to spare you unnecessary waiting. Offering a personalised object should never be a complex process: it should remain a simple, swift and perfectly controlled gesture.
