Geometry: Is it a gift box or a sculpture?

Actually, it’s both! Our vision behind Geometry was to create a box/sculpture piece. Serving as a box, Geometry opens to reveal the iconic L’Atelier du Vin corkscrew, Oeno Motion Gold. At the same time, whether open or closed, Geometry is a sculpture and work of art in its own right.

The Geometry of Wine in a Designer Corkscrew Set

Just as wine is enveloped in a bottle, this stainless-steel bottle opener is encapsulated in a timeless, beautiful black lacquered wooden sculpture. Inside the minimalist box lies an oenological treasure of exceptional craftsmanship: the Oeno Motion Gold corkscrew, ready to open a fine bottle of red, white or rosé wine.

Its foolproof mechanism enables to effortlessly extract the cork, much to the delight of wine connoisseurs. This prestigious corkscrew, complete with a foil cutter discreetly located in the inner side of its jaw, provides a good grip and solid support on the neck. Simply push the lever down to plunge the worm into the cork and pull it up to effortlessly extract it.

Remove the corkscrew from the bottle and repeat this movement to release the cork from your authentic sommelier tool, in preparation of your next tasting experience. This back-and-forth movement is reflected by the subtle sliding motion of the sculpted Geometry box, which opens and closes like a tribute to the art of revealing and hiding, or the ancestral secrets of wine making.
