A purely poetic mechanism. Opening with a soft touch. The Soft Machine ® extracts the cork from your bottle in one movement thanks to its unique gear system. Once the support lever is positioned on the neck, an ingenious gear keeps the spiral on the vertical axis throughout the uncorking process. Extraction is made without effort or twisting of the cork, all in a single fluid and continuous movement – whereas other sommelier corkscrews require a two-step operation. The Soft Machine ® also features a foil-cutting blade and a bottle opener built into the handle and the base. Meticulously conceived and designed by L’Atelier du Vin, this bottle opener is assembled and finished by hand, and is available for customization with initials.
