Tasting sessions are meant to be shared It is by sharing the wines, during festive and fruitful moments, that I like to taste and discover them. A (very) personal box
Gathered in the same compact place, I have a real pleasure to find:
• My wine tools for service,
• My tasting notes, my encounters with winemakers,
• My collection of ”memory“ corks,
• Light and annotated wine-documentation.
All within sight and hand. The Wine-lover’s Curiosities Case exposes this array of pieces in a beautiful cabinet made of walnut; produced and assembled by hand, piece by piece, by a cabinetmaker and model-maker, in France. By its own statement, this box provides me real joy: the joy of seeing it, of showing it to my friends and (especially) of using it in our living room, in the kitchen, in the dining room… wherever the wine settles at home.
Just opening it gives me the impression of ”visiting the cellar“, and allows me to supplement or revisit the tastings that impressed me.
